Nigeria natural gas resources and CNG potential

Nigeria has one of the world's largest proven natural gas reserves. CNG offers a cleaner, more affordable, and economically viable alternative to traditional fuels, reducing transportation costs and environmental impact while leveraging domestic resources for energy security.

We unite stakeholders to influence policy, share knowledge, maintain safety standards, attract investments, and promote public confidence. The Forum facilitates dialogue between industry participants and government institutions to create a coordinated ecosystem.

Formal incorporation by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) strengthened our institutional credibility, positioning the National CNG Forum as a recognized and legitimate voice of the CNG industry in Nigeria.
